Best noid for someone with a marijuana allergy?
My girlfriend has developed an allergy to
marijuana. Not an "allergy" - like - she freaks out or something, but
a real allergic reaction which causes swollen sinuses and wheezing. Sadly, she
is also a huge pothead and finds it super difficult to quit. She has tried
vaping high purity extracts, and her allergic reaction is significantly
lessened but still pretty severe. This must mean that her allergic response is
to some other organic molecule in the marijuana, not THC/CBD. Is there a 'noid
that is relatively safe and weed-like? Perhaps something she can use as a
substitute for pot, or at least something she can use to wean off altogether? I
know that the newer 'noids are more dangerous - so a recommendation of an older
'noid is fine even if it is officially banned.
Imo idk if it would be worth the switch for
her, but I’ve been smoking THJ-018 in medium/small amounts for about a month
and haven’t noticed any real negative side effects. Had to go a few nights
without and the “withdrawal” wasn’t any worse than when I used to have to go a
few nights without bud.
If I wasn’t getting drug tested I’d be
smoking good ol weed over noids every time...but I gotta say, it’s not too bad.
THJ-018 kinda feels like a strong sativa...not much body high but strong head
high. Better than making myself stupid with alcohol imo.
Also she’s one of the few other people I’ve
heard of having weed allergies. It makes me itchy if I rub it on my skin and it
makes me sneeze when I smoke it.
The high potential for harsh, life
impacting, side effects from ingesting these unknown chemical compounds, is
probably more severe / greater than her swollen sinuses.
The highest regarded "legacy"
compounds, now illegal in most places, was JWH-018, JWH-073, AM-2201, JWH-250,
and several others.
Still, I wouldn't subject someone I cared
about to these compounds.
illegal and also not manufactured anymore
In my experience the effects of the current
noids available are short lived, intense and they usually only require
microgram (!!!!) range dosages if you have no tolerance.
If she uses her mind it can work out I'd
say. But this is not for everyday use.
But tbh it's not really worth it to replace
it with current noids because like I said the effects are strong and short
lived.
I’m in the same boat.
Marijuana makes me sneezy, if it touches my
outer skin I itch a bit. Nose constantly stuffed and can’t breathed out of it,
mucus builds up like crazy and I damn near throw up every morning from mucus.
But I won’t stop smoking.
Smh.
Any options?
Take an allergy pill
I take a Zyrtec every single day lol
i have never heard of such a thing. Have
her take some clartin D before smoking lol. mj allergy, srsly, WTF. You can't
be this huge pot head and then wake up and be allergic to the stuff unless you
got some rare diseases/condition. And to substitute it with something that is
like crack/heroin/meth all rolled up into one. Now if your SERIOUS about all
this and she does get nausea, vomiting, and crampy abdominal pain after smoking
that means she has CHS ( Cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome) and for some reason
i notice women being more effected than men. Only seen one case myself with a
friend's ex. Keep her away from the noids just take more CBD to counter the THC
and t-breaks.
Claritin D does nothing at all. Xyzal works
a LITTLE bit, but not really.
You absolutely CAN develop an allergy. I
never said she developed it over the course of one night. I developed an
allergy to cherries after binging on them for a month or so. It does happen,
and it does not mean you have some rare disease/condition.
She does not have CHS. It's an allergy.
CBD would cause the exact same problem.
It's not the THC she's allergic to, it's the residual plant matter.
Unless...perhaps there is synthetic CBD?
I know people can develop milk ,peanut
,pollen allergies but if she is becoming allergic to cannabis which is what i
meant by a rare condition or disease(never heard of anyone being allergic to
cannabis but im sure it can happen). I would Try thc distillate if it's the
plant matter causing the allergic reactions. I would just stay away from
sythetic thc if your looking to get stoned. It is NOTHING like the real shit.
Noids just get ya k-hole stoned for 15 mins and fiening for more like a
crackhead.
If cannabis is really that important to
her, she can try taking some benadryl before smoking. Getting on a daily
antihistamine regimen along with an asthma treatment like an Albuterol inhaler
should cause most of the side effects to subside. The unknown long term side effects
of synthetic cannabinoid use are guaranteed to have a significantly more
damaging impact on her health in comparison to the relatively mild acute
effects of allergies. If you love your girlfriend, keep her away from synthetic
cannabinoids.
It would be great if I could just get her
some synthetic THC/CBD, so that it would be completely free of plant molecules.
Wow would of guessed it was just the act of
vaping irritating the sinuses... There is always marinol (prescription,
synthetic THC), but that shit is super rare, and it's possible any cannabinoids
will irritate her condition. Kratom is nice.
