is there a diffrence between 5fmdmb2201 orange vs white? and does anyone know the ratio to disdolve in acetone? i was told orange would lose color with acetone but it failed...i need clear anyone have done this before?

You would have to use a small amount to find a solvent your chem is not soluable in. Then take your chem and mix it with some solvent. Pour through a coffee filter. Your washed chem will be left in the filter, and theoretically, all of your contaminants will go through the filter with your solvent. Then let it air dry for a day or two.

No, but you might lose some weight, obviously, if there are impurities washed out. Id try with a smaller amount and get good at it before you wash a big batch. But I've had darker colored chems before that turned pure white after wash. Theoretically it should make it stronger and more pure.
