My experience with noids a decade ago

First of all, I wanted to say that this sub is very informative and full of information. Its great because someone can share information for harm reduction purposes. I do not partake in anything other then a little bit of cannabis, but I do find pharmacokinetics and drug research quite interesting.

I did try "spice" probably half a dozen times before it was illegal, and my last time I had a bad experience and I never touched it ever again. After reading some of reports about some of the later noids, I am so glad I stopped.

I was in high school at the time, and my older friend and I went into this local headshop. He knew the shop owner so I never got asked questions. We went in and he passed us a bowl and he told us to try it. We were shocked because we thought it was weed, but he told us that it was basically a new kind of legal weed that actually got you high, we were skeptical because of all the fake weed replacements that you could buy at headshops. We tried it and it actually worked. He then showed us all the different brands and kinds. I bought a 30$ pouch of acronym MBBA(not naming brands because of sub rules, but this was 10 years ago).

Took it home and packed a bowl or two and it was fantastic, even better then the one that was sampled to me. It was one of the cleanest highs ever. Pure euphoria for about 2 hours. I suspect that this was JWH-018. I went back a few times got some more, until one time I went in and the shop was out of that brand. I decided to try a new brand and named acronym "JJ". It was cheaper and the shop owner said he hadn't tried it yet.

I took this new one home and tried it. Got about two bowls in and I didn't feel anything so I decided to smoke more. I figured that it was just weak, or maybe I was developing a tolerance. I smoked another two bowls and started to feel a little bit high. About ten minutes later I started to feel nauseous and could just feel the puke bubbling up. I started to get dizzy and I ran into the bathroom and projectile vomited all over the toilet and wall. It was disgusting, but the weirdest thing was as soon as I puked, I was insanely high, but not a clean JWH high. No no no, this was some other nasty noid and I was super sick. After I got done puking, I was covered in sweat head to toe and my heart was racing. I had cold sweats and shivers so I went to go lay down in my bed to try to sleep it off. I was hit with intense paranoia and I was scared that a sniper was going to shoot me through my window so I laid on the floor next to my bed on the other side. I finally fell asleep after awhile, but woke up and felt relatively normal. I experienced some kind of paranoid delusion. I decided that I would never do this again.

Who knows the long term effects of these chemicals? I had a couple people I knew who continued to use noids even after the were made illegal and they would tell me about these new ones that would send you to space in one tiny hit. Both of these people have drug issues and obvious brain damage today. It is hard to say what is the ultimate factor, but I would not be surprised if long term noid use contributed to it.

Now with the vaping and ejuice becoming a mainstream thing, that has now become the vessel of noids on the market. I have seen products labeled as CBD products and they really have noids in them. Not only is this irresponsible, but its going to fuck it up for everyone else who use vaping for nicotine or cannabis products.

This applies to research chemicals and the whole psychedelic market in general, you never really know what you getting. All it takes is one bad batch and you could be dead or have permanent damage. The people who make these chemicals do not care if you live or die. The people who do these chemicals are playing Russian roulette with their lives and are naive to think nothing bad will happen to them.

I hope anyone dealing with addiction can get past it. If you do noids because of drug testing, if getting high is such an important part of your life, then work a job where you don't have to potentially poison yourself to get high to avoid testing positive.

Your story sounds awfully familiar to a lot of people that use Noids. Don't be too worried my friend.

Well in response to your long term issues I think it hits you mentally with the paranoia, anxiety the most in the long run. The insomnia, paranoia, anxiety are the long term effects I notice but it could of been worse!

I used for 8 years on and off and am back to my normal self, have no brain damage I know of, get insanely high off little bits of marijuana as well.

You said the people with brain damage had drug issues, maybe using all kinds of drugs caused this. I have always been a pot only guy, blends or liquor occasionally. But it hits everyone different and have heard of people having brain damage from 1 usage.

there are several serious vendor that run indipendent testing on tneir products fod example speaking of lysergamides you have to know that there is a lab who suppiies vendors with their products. they are in rhe game from long time and you always know which product u get
