moderation?
Im not an avid user noids but i have used a
few times in the past. Im in a situation where i can’t smoke actual weed but
i’d like to just get high a couple times a month just to unwind and let off the
edge of all of life’s bullshit. Is that still super detrimental to my
brain/health?
the problem with noids ( and this is from
like 2015-2017 i'm sure the stuff is a lot worse now ) is that it's extremely
addictive and abusing it is not good for you at all. if you were to actually do
it 1-2 times a month it would be fine but i've never seen anyone try it and not
be smoking it a lot after. i'd say go for kratom, even if you end up getting
addicted it's not as detrimental to your health. i know people who were
addicted to noids and they'd puke black shit and blood every morning
Thanks so much for this post and comment.
I've been going back and forth all day about relapsing and how THIS TIME it
will be different somehow, trying to convince myself to grab kratom instead
since I know how valuable it is. This exactly what I needed to hear. I'll be
grabbing kratom instead noids now. OP i highly wouldn't suggest attempting
noids in moderation. Best of luck.
Don't take drugs to forget about problems
or you'll more than probably end in a bad situation
Its not really to forget about problems,
like i said it’s more just to take an edge off and unwind. Sometimes even, i
get high and gain some perspective on my problems that help me down the road
Your better off with something else. It’s
way too addicting... maybe try kratom, kava or cbd?
Thirding Kratom again. It does exactly
this.
To answer your specific question - actual
harm from occasional ( twice a week ) moderate Noid usage - highly unlikely
IMHO as long as you are super careful with dosage. There is no evidence to show
long term harm from this, or any, level of use yet although who knows? - may
turn out to be catastrophically bad healthwise long term - we are the guinea
pigs.
Using a commercially available e-liquid is
likely to be far safer than powders or blends
I'll put it to you this way. I've been
using them for about 3 years now and got fairly hooked at one point and had to
take a break, but after a few months I resumed use and really made an effort to
exercise moderation and I've had no issues since. Here's how I do it.
Always leave my juice at home. I get home
from work and add a FEW DROPS to my existing ejuice. Vape at 30-40 watts max
and use a tank, never a dripper. I'll enjoy a good buzz in the evenings and
smoke decent amount before bed and in the morning I top my tank off with
regular juice an do so throughout the day so that I'm gradually using less and
less until I no longer feel the effects or feel bothered by not having any more
to vape until the evening. Get home and repeat the process. I've made a single
bottle of KJ last a month this way, can still enjoy my buzz without being a
zombie and have had no noticeable side effects.
On the other hand, I've seen my friends
vape it straight at way too high a wattage and get seriously fucked up and
easily hooked. It's no different than any drug imo if used in moderation. It's
the abuse of it by minors and people without enough self discipline to use
responsibly that's become the issue in the last year or so.
