Noids and the depletion of serotonin
Anyone have similar experiences with noids?
Completely losing zest for life, zero interests, don’t even enjoy TV anymore.
I am reminded of a phrase I think I first
saw on bluelight "moderation is the key"....
Take a break and find something that you
enjoy. Most people report feeling more normal in about 1-3 days severe cases
can last up to 2-3 weeks. Could this be due to a metabolite that is active but
has a longer half life? I don't know.
A taper is a valid option, until it isn't
anymore. It really depends on the situation. I would say each individual should
evaluate the safety of all options available and make an informed decision
based on your current needs.
Yeah man. Very common. You are pretty much
only interested in using when you are hooked on this stuff. You think you can
only enjoy things when using the stuff, and then when you get a big sack, you
just are constantly smoking and do nothing enjoyable that you would do
normally.
It makes crack seem acceptable! Stop if you
can brother. It's going to be a rough ride to get back yourself, WD's are
terrible. Prepare for the insomnia.
Recommend liquor to ease your pain. Advil
PM as well, but most sleeping pills won't help.
I definitely had this happen to me
recently, I quit and felt better after a couple weeks. I don’t know if it was a
serotonin thing or just general depression caused by used that nasty chemical.
I lost interest in things I cared about, didn’t feel like being around my
friends, and would be set off into depression and anger by the littlest things.
I feel back to normal now. I couldn’t recommend enough getting off that stuff.
I was smoking it because I’m on probation, I have a while to go but it wasn’t
worth the negatives just to get high off that crap. Best of luck in your
detoxing. I recommend melatonin for sleep and drinking to ease the pain.
I thought noids acted on cannabinoid
receptors, not serotonin.
Could be any number of things other than
serotonin which are all likely
